Expeditions and
Adventures

A collection: Building skills, executing trips, and having the time of my life-- typically in austere conditions.

My childhood in suburban Texas was spent watching adventure on the screen and reading about it in books and magazines. By 20, I had ignored my need to explore for too long, which is when I entered the "world's toughest canoe race." From there, the race was on and I reached out to polar explorers for tutelage, l learned how to climb, how to paddle, how to ski, and how to live in extreme places. Now that the dust had settled, I look back and see a healthy outdoor résumé that was made for being an expedition Swiss Army knife."

Expedition Experience

Modes of Transportation

From ski-pulking to motorcycles, I enjoy movement by many different methods. So far I've practiced and begun my journey of mastering skiing (downhill, ski-mountaineering, cross-country), paddling (sea kayak, packraft, canoe, outrigger canoe), mountaineering, rock climbing (top-rope, traditional), cycling (road, gravel, mountain), motorcycling, and I regularly compete in long-distance canoe racing and triathlons.
